Empowering you to Thrive
Joanne's warmth and kindness accompany a practical, solution focussed therapy style. Her own challenges and life experience have developed a deep compassion in her, and also taught her the strength that can be unlocked when one works through one’s struggles. Joanne’s focus is therefore on overcoming old patterns of thinking that may be holding one back, and discovering one's strengths and resilience.
Joanne is a relatable psychologist that most people will find easy to connect with. She helps individuals identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience. She may also introduce relaxation techniques, mindfulness practices, and stress management skills, to reduce the physiological and psychological symptoms associated with stress, depression, trauma, and anxiety.
By empowering clients with a better understanding of their emotions and providing them with the tools to manage their mental health, they are able to build resilience, become happier, and ultimately thrive.
